Welcome to Hansard.ai ("we," "us," or "our"). We provide an AI-powered platform designed to assist with transcription, classification, and analysis of parliamentary and public records — making official documentation more accessible, searchable, and efficient for our users ("you" or "your").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at hansard.ai ("Service"), operated by Hansard.ai, a division of Evoluut.ai. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Communications

  • By creating an account or interacting with our Service, you agree to receive communications from us, including service updates, security notices, and newsletters.
  • You may opt out of marketing or promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in such emails.

Content

Our Service may allow you to upload, process, store, or share certain materials such as transcripts, documents, or text ("Content"). You are responsible for ensuring that the Content you provide is lawful, accurate, and appropriate.

By submitting Content to Hansard.ai, you represent and warrant that:

  • The submission and use of your Content do not infringe upon the rights of any third party, including privacy, copyright, or confidentiality rights.

You retain all ownership rights to your Content. However, by using our Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to process and store your Content solely for the purpose of delivering our services to you.

Intellectual Property

  • All intellectual property rights in the Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), including design, features, trademarks, and technology, remain the exclusive property of Hansard.ai and its licensors.
  • You may not use our trademarks, branding, or materials without prior written consent.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so at any time by contacting privacy@hansard.ai. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hansard.ai, its affiliates, licensors, and their respective employees, officers, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities (including legal fees) arising out of:

  • Your use or misuse of the Service,
  • Your violation of these Terms, or
  • Any Content you upload, share, or process through the Service.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Hansard.ai, Evoluut.ai, or their affiliates, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service,
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our systems,
  • Any content obtained through the Service, or
  • Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the use of our Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Hansard.ai does not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be free from viruses or harmful components, or
  • The results generated by the Service will meet your expectations or specific use case.

Data Use and Processing

  • By using Hansard.ai, you acknowledge that your uploaded materials may be processed by automated systems for transcription, summarization, and classification purposes.
  • We do not use your private or confidential Content for AI training without explicit consent. All processing is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Anguilla, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
  • If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Changes

  • We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced on our website or via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
  • By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.

Subscription and Payment

Hansard.ai may offer both free and subscription-based access to its services. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

  • Subscription: Access requires an active plan. Plan details and features are listed on our website.
  • Payment: All payments are processed securely and billed in advance. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.
  • Refunds: Payments are non-refundable, including subscription and setup fees.
  • Usage Limits: Your plan may include limits (e.g., number of documents processed). Exceeding these may incur additional fees.
  • Price Changes: We may update our prices with 30 days' notice.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period; no refunds are issued for unused time.
  • Termination: Hansard.ai reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
